This letter is for landowners that want to legally keep Ameren off their property. At this point, it may not be necessary for the Fox River route, but anyone else is welcome to use it. At best, this will require that they give you 30 days notice before coming on your property, which is probably a good thing.
This letter must be sent certified mail, return receipt requested. Enter your full name and full address in the boxes above, and click on Create Personalized Letter, which will create a page you can print. Before you send the letter, sign it in ink and make a copy. Save the copy along with the return card for your records.
If Ameren appears on your property after this letter is delivered, it is not necessary to tell them to leave. It is only necessary that the police be called. Be sure to do that as soon as possible and be sure to tell the responding officer, either on the phone or the in-person responder that you wish to file a criminal complaint.
